| Where are we? |

A few steps away from the cathedral of Palermo. Palermo, the main city of Sicily, is famous for its blend of arts and culture resulting from the domination of Arabs, Normans and finally Bourbon. Much of the architecture of the city comes from Norman influences, while there are few churches and squares of Arabic origin. The famous cathedral - close to our Bed and Breakfast - is an example of this competition between different styles: Norman and Renaissance ones. The Church of St. Francis of Assisi was located in the center of old town, rebuilt after many vicissitudes, maintaining its typical medieval treatises. The most important building is The Norman Palace, famous for the Palatine Chapel. The most important fair of the city is without doubt the one dedicated to Santa Rosalia patron saint, with a procession that attracts thousands of tourists from around the world. Surrounding the town we want to stress the location of Mondello, "the beach" of Palermo, an old and enchanting fishing village, animated by events with ancient maritime traditions. Via Gioeni 19
